• Founded in Tampere Finland in 2014, Brighterwave is a privately owned hardware company.
• We design, develop and sell innovative lasers and laser projection systems for AR/VR, automotive and life science applications.
• We have a passion to produce perfect visible light for state-of-the-art projection and imaging applications. We help our customers create some of the most advanced next-generation end-products in AR/VR, automotive and life science industries. We do this by developing, integrating and selling customized laser and laser projection systems which are loaded with cutting edge competitive advantages. The services we offer to our customers cover the full range from feasibility studies to volume production.
• With the help of our state-of-the-art manufacturing partners we provide market-beating products to our customers in high volume and high quality.
• In 2017 – 2018, we run a project called REALITY where we focused on developing revolutionary RGB laser light sources and laser projection technologies for the next generation AR/VR eyewear solutions. The project was funded by the European commission under the SME Instrument Phase 2 HORIZON 2020 Framework Programm. The developed technologies will be utilized in our products which are targeted to high volume consumer electronics applications.
